Tutoring from Mr.
Richman
For over 37 years, Mr. Richman has served as a public school teacher,
tutor, and as author of four books on education. He is an expert at
instructing and motivating pupils. His special techniques have served as
the catalyst of success for many of his students. He has been tutoring
very successfully for over 25 years, and has helped young
adults/children from all walks of life achieve their educational goals. His
pupils show great improvement both in grades and in attitude.

He is a township resident of Millburn, NJ.
He currently teaches Math at Columbia HS in Maplewood.

In his spare time he gives lectures to encourage and inspire other
teachers and administrators to motivate their pupils.

Mr. Richman's Lectures:
- Oct. 2008 for the Association of Math Teachers of New Jersey on his
successful teaching methods.
- In 2001, he was Assistant Principal of Math and Science at The High
School of Economics and Finance, a HS in Downtown Manhattan.
- He presented a workshop on study skills at the Rutgers University Pre-
calculus Conference in March of 2006 and 2007. Mr. Richman also
received two grants (2006 and 2007) from SOMEF, a Maplewood based
education organization that supports innovative ideas in education.
-Mr. Richman lectured in December 2009 and May 2010 at Rutgers
University on "Brain-Based Stud Strategies."

He is presenting several of his books at the NJEA Convention in Nov.
2011 in Atlantic City and is scheduled to present his ideas on teaching
and study skills to audiences of the National Council of Teacher of
Mathematics in Atlantic City (in Oct. 2011).

Mr. Richaman is currently teaching math at Columbia HS in
Maplewood. H
e has recieved three grants (2004-2006, 2008) from
SOMEF, a Maplewood- based education organization that supports
innovative ideas in education. The grants serve to help fund creative
techinques in the classroom.
